Many friends in our West Marin community and from elsewhere have contributed to this web site and we would like to thank them all.
Sally Gale, a west Marin beef rancher and artist, has taken many lovely photos of our sheep, some of which we are using on the web site. Her photo of our beloved East Friesian ewe, Edie, became the basis for our cheese label. You can learn more about Sally and Mike Gale’s beef ranch at www.chilenobeef.com and www.chilenobnb.com.
Nancy Stein, a west Marin artist and landscape designer, is not only doing landscaping for our house and Lolo’s, but she has given us the sheep drawings that grace the web site, and the drawing based on Sally’s photo of our ewe Edie, that became our logo. You can learn more about Nancy’s art at www.nancysteinart.com.
Katherine Williams and her husband Tim Edwards, of Pelican Studio and Telescience Networks in Point Reyes, have applied their multiple talents, including but not limited to their web-design, photographic, and artistic skills, to designing our web-site, logo, cheese labels, business cards and product information sheets. Their photographs of our ranch and our cheese are throughout our web site. See more about them at www.pelicanstudio.com and www.telescience.net.
Sue McConnell, a Stanford biology professor and wildlife photographer, photographed our ranch and our sheep, and has given us several of her photos to use on our web site. You can see Sue’s wildlife photos at http://web.mac.com/susan.mcconnell/Site/Home.html.
Paige Green, a free-lance photographer based in Petaluma, photographed our ranch for the Marin Agricultural Land Trust, and has allowed us to use her photos throughout our site. See more of Paige’s amazing photography at http://paigegreen.wordpress.com, and www.paigegreenphotography.com. A longer slide show of Paige’s photos of our ranch is at: http://paigegreen.wordpress.com/2009/09/17/3901/.
Gwendolyn Meyer recently took photos of our ranch and cheese, which she has gracioiusly allowed me to use on the web site. See more of Gwen's photos on Barinaga Ranch's facebook page, and at Gwen's web site: http://www.gwendolynmeyer.com/.
Eli Hammon, free-lance photographer, photographed our sheep for the Point Reyes Light, and generously allowed us to use his photos on our web site.
